Happy National Candy Corn Day! Did you know that originally, each tiny candy corn kernel was made by hand and candy corn once had the name “Chicken Feed” because of its similarity to real corn.
SCHOOL NEWS
There is an early-out for teacher’s in-service tomorrow. Students will be dismissed at 1:30PM.
Just a reminder now that we are getting into some colder and snowier weather. Please send warm outdoor clothes for students to wear at recess and on the bus, including hat, scarf, mittens/gloves, boots, and snow pants.
Books Are Fun has a display in the teacher’s lounge. Check it out!
Lego Robotics (Grades 3-6) will meet on Friday, October 30 from 1:30-4:30PM.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place on October 27 & 29. Masks are required if you are meeting in-person with the teachers.
Volleyball Pink Shirt Night will take place at the volleyball game on October 31st vs North Star in Harvey.
Any Items to be included in the Daily Announcements need to be emailed to lindsay.widicker@fessenden.k12.nd.us by 3:00 PM to be included in the next day's memo.
