Today is National Golden Retriever Day! The Golden Retriever is one of the most popular dog breeds in the US. The calm temperament, intelligence, and playfulness make them ideal best friends for any dog lover. Plus, they make great disability assistance animals, like seeing eye dogs for the blind and hearing dogs for the deaf. They’ve ended up saving lives in these roles—no wonder they have a holiday named after them.
SCHOOL NEWS
Today, we will have our February Dress Up Day! It’s Workout Wednesday! Wear your most comfortable workout gear and get ready to flex!
Books Are Fun has a display in the teacher’s lounge. Money and orders are due by Friday, February 5.
Lego Robotics (Grades 3-6) will meet on February 1, 8, and 22 after school. These are the only practices that are scheduled.
