Happy Daffodil Day! Daffodil Days, usually held in March, raises funds and awareness for cancer using this cheerful symbol. Cancer kills more than 600,000 Americans each year and affects countless lives. Since the 1950s, the daffodil has served as a symbol of hope and resilience in the face of cancer.
SCHOOL NEWS
TODAY is the day! Most of the spring sports will start Monday, the 22nd, after school, this includes Softball and Baseball. Golf will start on the 29th. All athletes will need to provide a physical form if they haven't participated in any sports this year and pay the sports fee prior to practice. Practice schedules will be given out at practice and game/meet schedules can be found on our Hornets app or visit our school's website. We are looking forward to a busy spring full of Hornet activities!
This week we are dressing up to celebrate Reading Month! Our theme is the Olympic Colors.

Tuesday - Yellow
Wednesday - Black
Thursday - Green
Friday - Red
Pre Prom Dinner at The Q starting at 5:30 PM the night of Prom. Cost is $30 per person and the Menu is Chicken Alfredo or Beef Tips, House Salad, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Cheesecake, Bread, & Drink. The sign up sheet is in the Fessenden-Bowdon School Main Office.
Pastries with Parents is scheduled for Friday, March 26 from 8:00-8:30AM at the school. Come join your kids for muffins, rolls, fresh fruit, and juice. Please return the bottom section to the office by March 22. There will be additional sheets available outside the office.

Fessenden Civic and Commerce is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 27 starting at 2:00PM in the Fessenden Park. There will be some great prizes and lots of fun!
