Fun Fact Friday! Lincoln Logs were created by John Lloyd Wright, son of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright, in the 1920s. They were named after Abraham Lincoln, who grew up in a log cabin.

School picture retakes will be on Monday, September 20.
Activity passes are in the office. Please stop and pick your pass up if you purchased one.
Homecoming king finalists are Seth Dinius, Alex Heilman, and Garin Opdahl. Homecoming queen finalists are Tyjah Hornbacher, Kalyn Keller, and Addison Neumiller
Homecoming T-shirt forms went home. If you would like to order t-shirts, please bring your order to the office and your money. Orders are due in the office by Monday, September 13. Homecoming is the week of September 27-October 1.
This week is “You Matter Week.” We will be focusing on suicide prevention. To go along with the theme, there will be dress-up days:
Friday: Stronger Together. Wear red, white and blue to show community support in suicide prevention.

Community News
Duckfest in Bowdon is scheduled for September 17-19, 2021. There will be a parade, corn hole tournament, German supper, vendor/art show, kids games, duck race, and much more. Check www.bowdonnd.com for a full schedule.
Reminder: Sunday school begins this week at First Lutheran Church in Fessenden.
