Cenex Lunch - Cenex has decided to change their ordering system and make it easier for everyone. If you stop by the office, there are order forms with menus. You can now use the menu to order ahead and pick up your order when you get there. Make sure you follow the menu and email correctly.
FFA Labor Sale, FCCLA Chili Fee, and Annual Pie Auction - Mark your calendar! Next Tuesday, November 16 at 5:00PM all are welcome to attend this fundraiser for FFA, FCCLA and the Annual (Yearbook).
Warm Clothes Reminder: now that we are getting into some colder and snowier weather. Please send warm outdoor clothes for students to wear at recess and on the bus, including hat, scarf, mittens/gloves, boots, and snow pants.
Penny Pop Wars - Bowdon FCCLA presents the first annual Penny Pop War for Warriors! Each class (AKA Battalion) from PreK to 12th will face off in a battle of daring generosity. Anytime throughout the day you may either contribute pennies and pop tabs to your battalion’s container for positive points or sabotage other battalions with other coins and bills in their containers for negative points. Each Penny and/or Pop Tab counts as one point each for the battalion container they are put in. All other money counts as negative points for the battalion container they are put in. Points are equal to the value of the coin or bill. (Nickel = -5, Dime = -10, Quarter = -25, $1 -100, etc.) 5. The battalion with the most points at the end of the war will be rewarded with a catered pizza party courtesy of the FCCLA chapter and eternal bragging rights (until the next war). The war ends at 3:30pm on Friday, November 19th. All donations must be placed by that time. The team with the most points will be announced on Monday November 22nd. Note: a team can still win with negative points! All the money raised will go to the Wounded Warrior Project (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/) and the pop tabs will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities (https://www.rmhc.org/).
Winter Sports Practices - Varsity Girls will begin on Monday, November 15 and Varsity Boys will begin practicing on Monday, November 22. JH Boys Basketball will begin practicing on November 29.
