SCHOOL NEWS  

  • Students in grades 1-6 are invited to sing the national anthem at our last home game in Fessenden on February 15. The boys will be playing Carrington with the JH game starting at 4:30PM.

  • Post Prom - There is a sign-up sheet in the office for post prom. The deadline is March 5, 2022 for signing up so that you can order a shirt. You can still sign up after March 5, but shirts won’t be guaranteed.

  • 2022 Post Prom Committee - Junior parents are in charge of the Post Prom Party.  The first planning meeting will be Friday, February 4th at 4:45 pm in the Art Room of the School.  All high school parents are welcome to attend.

  • Do you want to learn some basketball skills? Junior Hoops will take place in the New Gym on the following Saturdays: January 15, 22, 29 and February 5 and 12. It is open to kids in Grades K-6. Grades K-1 will be at 9:00AM and Grades 2-4 will be at 10:00AM. (Grades 5-6 are welcome to come scrimmage at 10:00AM also) Please contact Jayme Loff at 701-341-1144 with any questions. 

  • East Central Center for Exceptional Children will be offering preschool screening on Wednesday, February 23 from 9:30AM-2:00PM at the Fessenden-Bowdon School.

Community News

Wells County Community Cares is doing a giveaway on their facebook page (Wells County Community Cares) for 9 Happy Kits to promote self care. Check out their page for info on how to enter (closes 2/13).

Megan Ekren from Advance in Recovery comes to Harvey or Fessenden weekly and has immediate openings for individual and family counseling for all ages. Megan also can assist those that have substance use disorders. Please call Megan at 701-645-1032 or email her at megan@advanceinrecovery.org for more information on how to get started. Megan accepts BCBS, Medicaid, Sanford, or private pay.

Hunter Safety Class - The James River Gun Club in Cathay will be offering a hunter safety class beginning February 11 at 6:00PM. If you are interested in signing up, please visit https://bit.ly/34izFIm. There are additional details on the website and you will need to sign up if you plan to attend.
