Happy National Banana Bread Day! Admit it, few things are quite as comforting as walking into the house and smelling a freshly baked loaf of banana bread. It’s certainly a dessert staple in many households, which is probably why so many of us have such a special place in our hearts for this delicious treat. The best things in life deserve an entire day devoted to celebrating their existence.
SCHOOL NEWS
Calendar Change: There will not be an early-out on Friday, February 25 in order to make up hours from storm days. We will be having a regular school day.
This week is National FFA Week! There are dress-up days scheduled:
Wednesday - Dress up in your favorite western apparel.
Thursday - Dress like a farm animal.
Friday - Bring your FFA spirit by wearing Blue & Gold.
The FFA Food Drive will be this week February 22-26. Donations will be collected in the individual classrooms. There will be class competitions for the total weight/person collected with the winning class earning an ice cream float day! There will also be drop boxes at the Q and grocery store in Fessenden. Thank you for helping feed hungry families!
HWC SWAT Wrestling will begin February 22. Information went home with students in Grades K-6. If you are still needing a registration form, please contact the school office.
Post Prom - There is a sign-up sheet in the office for post prom. The deadline is March 5, 2022 for signing up so that you can order a shirt. You can still sign up after March 5, but shirts won’t be guaranteed.
East Central Center for Exceptional Children will be offering preschool screening on Wednesday, February 23 from 9:30AM-2:00PM at the Fessenden-Bowdon School.

Megan Ekren from Advance in Recovery comes to Harvey or Fessenden weekly and has immediate openings for individual and family counseling for all ages.
