Happy Earth Day! For the past 50 years, Earth Day has been celebrated by billions of people around the globe, annually every April 22, to join together in promoting awareness for the health of our environment.
SCHOOL NEWS
Spring Art Show - The Art program will host the first annual spring art show which will exhibit artworks created by K-12 students. The exhibit will be set up at the school in Bowdon in the Bowdon Art Gallery. The dates of the show will be Thursday, April 21 from 4:00-8:00PM and Friday, April 22 from 9:00AM-5:00PM. On Thursday evening, Ms. Pifer and FACS students will have food provided in the Bowdon Community Kitchen across from the gallery. Families will be able to purchase dinner and proceeds will cover the supplies. Students were given permission slips last week that need to be signed and returned to the office by April 11. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
FCCLA is selling Butterbraids! You can order online to support our students. Please visit https://bit.ly/3KZivjh. The deadline to order is Friday, April 22. Your purchases will help Fessenden-Bowdon FCCLA members attend the National Leadership Conference in San Diego, June 29th - July 3rd. Our goal is to sell at least 300 pastries. Thank you for you for supporting Fessenden - Bowdon FCCLA!
Driver’s Education will be offered in Harvey this summer! There are only 30 spots and they will fill up quickly. If you are interested in registering, please stop by the Fessenden-Bowdon office and pick up a form.
The Spring Concert date has been set for Monday, May 2 at 6:30PM.

Mother’s Day Brunch - There will be a mother’s day brunch at Festival Hall at 11:00AM on Sunday, May 8. Free will donation and the proceeds will go towards the pool renovation project.
