SCHOOL NEWS
★The GBB game on Friday will be played in Munich starting at 5:30PM with only JV and Varsity games!
★The doubleheader in Steele on Saturday will be played as follows:
11:00AM-7th grade boys
12:00PM-8th grade boys
1:30PM-JV girls
3:00PM-Varsity girls
4:30-JV boys
6:00PM-Varsity boys
★Post Prom sign up sheet is in the office, the deadline to sign up is March 10th! You do not need to attend Prom to sign up for Post Prom!
★The Elementary students will NOT be singing the National Anthem TONIGHT.
★Lego Robotics will be having practice after school TODAY.
★Metigoshe in Motion will be held on Friday, January 27th join them after school at the First Lutheran Church from 3:30-5 for a fun afternoon of activities!
★Any Items to be included in the Daily Announcements need to be emailed to
kylah.locken@fessenden.k12.nd.us by 3:00 PM to be included in the next day's memo.

COMMUNITY NEWS
Beauty, Inside and Out. It’s what BIO stands for. We are showing young girls how to build self-worth based on their values, talents, philanthropy and individuality, not how they look. We are on a mission to build the self-esteem of girls through empowerment of self and service to others. BIO Girls is a 12-session program proven to improve self-esteem, emotional well-being and physical well-being of participants by combining life-skills curriculum, mentoring and physical activity.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
Girls currently in grades 2-6 of all abilities are welcome to participate in BIO Girls. Participants receive 20 hours of programming dedicated to self-esteem enhancement.
● Start Date: 2/26/2023
● End Date/Race Date: 5/28/2023 (5k is 5/20/23)
● Meet Day & Time: Sundays 2pm-3:30pm
Location: Fessenden Ambulance Bay (103 6 Ave N)
Fee: $67.50 suggested/participant, Pay What You Can option
