Here are a few pictures from the Close Up Trip! The seniors are making some great memories. They arrived on Saturday in a snow storm, but the weather is improving now. One of the pictures is from brunch at the Founding Farmers restaurant. Thank you to each person that helped support this trip for our students!

The Study Skills class played games with our Kindergarteners this afternoon. It is always fun with learning involves games. :)
This week's senior spotlight shines on Seth Dinius. He is the son of Jill Stevens.

Favorite Class: History classes are my favorite. I like the old adage, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." Plus Mr. Locken is a pretty cool dude. :)
Favorite Teacher: For me it would have to be Mr. Locken. Not only is he empathetic and supportive, but also is an excellent teacher who seems to care for the well-being of his students. He is a man I will admire, appreciate, and remember for years to come.
Favorite School Memory: The intense Uno games that are hosted in the history room before Christmas and summer breaks.
Future Plans: Attend BSC for an associate's degree in carpentry and then work as an independent carpenter in Wells County.

First Grade went on a dino dig today! They had fun learning about what paleontologists do.

The boy's basketball regional tournament will begin on Monday. HWC will play St. John on Monday, March 14 in Devils Lake.
7-12 FACS Teacher - Fessenden-Bowdon School currently has a Family and Consumer Science teaching position available for the 2022-2023 school year. We are exploring all possibilities of licensing. The vacancy will be open until filled.
