The Lloyd Memorial Track Meet and HWC SB Game that were scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled. No reschedule date has been set yet.


Today's senior spotlight is Garin Opdahl. He is the son of Carrie and Aaron Opdahl.
Activities: FFA, 4-H, Football, Track, Fire Department
Favorite Class: My favorite classes would have to be my ag classes. I get to use my imagination and create projects that I thought of and like.
Favorite Teacher: My favorite teacher is Mr. Moe. I have taken at least one of his classes each year of high school. He has taught me many thing that will directly benefit my future in my career.
Favorite School Memory: My favorite school memory is when we went to National FFA convention in my 7th grade year and then again my freshman year when we competed in national agronomy and took 5th place.
Future Plans: I plan to attend Bismarck State College for Agronomy and I plan to be a part of their track and field team.

Menu Change: On Wednesday, April 20, we will be serving Tater Tot Hotdish, Corn, Fruit, Milk, Water.


There will be no school or activities on Thursday, April 14. It will be a virtual learning day. The elementary vb game and the baseball game have been canceled. We will let you know if/when a reschedule date is set. Reminder: There will be NO School on Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 18. We will see you all on Tuesday, April 19!

Favorite Class: POD, I have a better understanding of the government and law.
Favorite Teacher: Mrs. Wiesz, She has always been there for me since 7th grade. I can also really relate myself to her personality!
Favorite School Memory: Funny moments in Mr. Locken's room.
Future Plans: I want to become a pet groomer.

Post Prom Permission forms were handed out yesterday. All students that are planning to attend the post prom party will need a signed form. Out of town guests also need a form signed. You may turn in your forms to the office or bring on the night of prom.

Scholarship opportunity for past graduates of Fessenden-Bowdon School:
If you have completed one-year of college, you are eligible to apply for the Eleanor Wiebe Scholarship. Preference will be to those majoring in Agriculture and/or Trade School, but it is open to ALL majors. F/B and HHS Graduates are eligible. FBHS and HHS will be handing out over $30,000 in Scholarship Money yearly. Deadline for this year will be MAY 1st!

Fessenden-Bowdon School will be hosting 4 track meets this spring and we are looking for volunteers to help with the events and concessions.
The Lloyd Memorial track meet will be held on Tuesday, April 19 beginning at 2:30PM. If you would be willing to help, please contact the school office or comment on this post.

Our senior spotlight today is Anna Copenhaver. She is the daughter of Steve and Pam Copenhaver.
Activities: Volleyball, FFA, 4-H
Favorite Class: POD, it is interesting and I love learning about our government.
Favorite Teacher: Mr. Locken. He knows how make a class engaging and interesting.
Favorite School Memory: When Mr. Loff took Neil's energy drink and hid it in his office because he was getting really hyper and crazy.
Future Plans: I plan on attending UND in Grand Forks to pursue a Bachelor's in Forensic Science with a Minor in Psychology and another minor also.

The ND Department of Agriculture has been providing schools in North Dakota with totes to be used for their farm to school lunch program. The Fessenden-Bowdon FFA was a recipient of four totes. We will use the totes to provide fresh produce from the garden to the school to be used for school lunch.
