Our 5th graders had an amazing opportunity yesterday at Scrubs Camp at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake! 🩺
Throughout the day, students rotated through six hands-on stations where they explored a variety of careers in the medical field. They learned valuable skills like performing CPR, taking vital signs, proper hand-washing, wound care, and even explored careers in mental health. They also got a chance to see and learn about different medical equipment used in real healthcare settings.
The presenters did a fantastic job making each session fun, interactive, and engaging. Our students came away with a wealth of knowledge and a fun goodie bag to top it off!
It was truly a wonderful day of learning and exploration!
