HWC Boy's Basketball will compete against Dunseith tonight at 7:30PM in the regionals in Dunseith. Let's Go Hornets!

This week's senior spotlight is Alison Peters! Alison is the daughter of Rebecca Seidel and Marshall Peters. *Future plans: I plan to attend Bismarck State College for elementary education

*Favorite Class: Apprenticeship - I love working with children and getting a feel for my upcoming career
*Favorite Teacher: My favorite teacher is Courtney Weisz I love how she treats every student like her own. She’s so willing to help anyone one as well as keep a smile on her face.
*Favorite FBS Memory: Talks in history classes

Congratulations HWC Boys Basketball Team on their victory over Lakota last night! Final Score was 66-46. Onto Regionals, where we will face Dunseith.

HWC Boy's Basketball will compete in the district tournament today at 4:00PM. They will play Benson County in New Rockford. Masks are required when not seated and there will be designated seating areas. Go Hornets!
Remember there is an early out tomorrow for teacher's in-service. Students will be dismissed at 1:30PM.
This week's senior spotlight is Brianna Fike! Brianna is the daughter of Troy and Jen Fike.
*Future plans: Going to Bismarck State College and majoring as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
*Extracurriculars: Volleyball
*Favorite Class: Anatomy. It is very interesting to learn about how the body works along with disecting animals that are kind of similar to humans.
*Favorite Teacher: Mr. Locken, because he is nice and you can joke around with him easily. Also I like how sarcastic he is. :)
*Favorite FBS Memory: Either going to Bismarck for the LifeSmarts event or when us girls decided to have our own little rodeo in the Sams Club bathroom.

This is the bracket for the boy's district basketball tournament. HWC boys will play in New Rockford against Benson County on Friday, February 26 @ 4:00PM.

Haleigh Lematta won the North Dakota state girl’s championship over the weekend in Fargo. We are all so proud of Haleigh and all of the HWC wrestlers who competed!

SWAT Wrestling begins on February 23 in Harvey. It is open to students in grades K-6.

Mathew is the son of John and Tracy Sjoquist. *Future plans: Go to college for computer science and get a job as a programmer. *Extracurriculars: Cross Country, First Tech Challenge *Favorite Class: Chemistry has the coolest labs. I always have fun mixing chemicals. *Favorite Teacher: All of my teachers are awesome. I couldn't pick a favorite. *Favorite FBS Memory: Waving at drivers to honk while we ate next to the zoo on a class field trip. Congrats Mathew! We wish you all of the best in the future!
