Today is our last senior spotlight and it is shining on Nicole Neumiller. She is the daughter of Reade and Melissa Neumiller.
Activities: FFA, Student Council, PACT
Favorite Class: Behavioral Psychology. I learned a lot about myself and how I could change my own behavior to become a better person. I also learned ways I can help others' behaviors in my future career.
Favorite Teacher: Teresa Felderman. She taught me behavioral psychology in a way that was hands on and encouraged us to dive deeper when conducting our observations and trials. She was always willing to help yet was strict with what she required.
Favorite FBS Memory: Learning the correct way to dispose of a lightbulb in a LifeSmarts contest.
Future plans: I plan to attend NDSU for a Master's in Dietetics.

Location/Time Change: HWC SB will now be playing in Wilton. They will play Washburn at 3:00PM and Wilton at 5:00PM and JV will play at 7:00PM.
All library books are due on Monday, May 16.

HWC Softball will play 2 games TODAY in Fessenden. They will play Washburn @ 2:00PM and Wilton @ 4:30PM. JV will also follow after Wilton game. Hope to see you all at the games. Good luck girls!
Today our senior spotlight is Alex Heilman. He is the son of Allen and Sarah Heilman.
Activities: FFA, fishing, hunting, and powersports
Favorite Class: POD Because it has given us the most useful real world knowledge.
Favorite teacher: David Locken. He is very knowledgeable, works very well with students, and is very respectable.
Favorite school memory: When Garin and I got out of class to go to Mr. Loffs to get his grill for lunch that day.
Future plans: I plan on attending Bismarck State College to obtain an associates degree in farm and ranch management. After college I plan on continuing to make hay as well as work with my parents on the family farm.

The HWC Softball game that was set for today has been CANCELED due to the rain.
Congratulation to the HWC SB team! They played Hazen and Garrison yesterday. Ended the day 2-0 and out scoring opponents 44-0! Whole lineup hit, pitching and defense were lights out. They will be playing today in Fessenden against Washburn at 4:30PM.
Reminder: There will be an early out on TODAY for the teachers in service. Students will be dismissed at 1:30PM.
The softball game at Central Cass scheduled for tomorrow has been CANCELED due to weather.

Today our senior spotlight is Joshua Crowder. He is the son of Larry and Pauline Crowder.
Activities: Robotics, FFA, Agronomy
Favorite Class: POD, because we normally don't get any homework, the class is usually interesting, and the projects are often fun and relevant to the class.
Favorite Teacher: Mr. Locken, because he's fun to talk to and puts a lot of extra effort into his classes.
Favorite School Memory: Riding scooters around DC late at night on the Close Up Trip.
Future Plans: I plan to go to UND for Civil Engineering.

- Concessions - all of the food is purchased. We are looking for people to grill burgers and sell/serve the concessions. The money will go to pay for track upkeep.
Hat Day! Students and staff may pay $1 on Friday, April 29 to wear a hat.

Today the last group of students got to go to the Main St. Diner and build their burgers. During March, students in grades PK-6 set reading goals and when they met their goals they earned a piece of a burger. Thank you so much to Main St. Diner for serving our readers some great burgers!

Activities: Softball, Wrestling, Student Council
Favorite Class: Chemistry, because it allows me to learn and look at everyday life through a different lens.
Favorite Teacher: Mr. Locken, because he truly cares about his students no matter the circumstance.
Favorite School Memory: Playing intense UNO with Tyjah, Seth, Mr. Locken, and Mrs. Wiesz.
Future Plans: I plan to attend Concordia College and major in dietetics and exercise science. I've also committed to playing softball while attending.
