Today's senior spotlight is Madison Austin. Her parents are Ryan and Trisha Austin. Activities: FCCLA, 4-H, and FFA Favorite Class: POD, I have a better understanding of the government and law. Favorite Teacher: Mrs. Wiesz, She has always been there for me since 7th grade. I can also really relate myself to her personality! Favorite School Memory: Funny moments in Mr. Locken's room. Future Plans: I want to become a pet groomer. Congratulations Madison!

Fessenden-Bowdon School will be hosting 4 track meets this spring and we are looking for volunteers to help with the events and concessions. The Lloyd Memorial track meet will be held on Tuesday, April 19 beginning at 2:30PM. If you would be willing to help, please contact the school office or comment on this post.

Scholarship opportunity for past graduates of Fessenden-Bowdon School: If you have completed one-year of college, you are eligible to apply for the Eleanor Wiebe Scholarship. Preference will be to those majoring in Agriculture and/or Trade School, but it is open to ALL majors. F/B and HHS Graduates are eligible. Our senior spotlight today is Neil LaPlant. His parents are Alexa and Bruce LaPlant. Activities: Football Favorite Class: POD Favorite Teacher: Mr. Locken, because he treats the students good. Future Plans: College, Football, and Farming We wish Neil all the best in his future endeavors!

Post Prom Permission forms were handed out yesterday. All students that are planning to attend the post prom party will need a signed form. Out of town guests also need a form signed. You may turn in your forms to the office or bring on the night of prom.

Our senior spotlight today is Anna Copenhaver. She is the daughter of Steve and Pam Copenhaver. Activities: Volleyball, FFA, 4-H Favorite Class: POD, it is interesting and I love learning about our government. Favorite Teacher: Mr. Locken. He knows how make a class engaging and interesting. Favorite School Memory: When Mr. Loff took Neil's energy drink and hid it in his office because he was getting really hyper and crazy. Future Plans: I plan on attending UND in Grand Forks to pursue a Bachelor's in Forensic Science with a Minor in Psychology and another minor also.

The ND Department of Agriculture has been providing schools in North Dakota with totes to be used for their farm to school lunch program. The Fessenden-Bowdon FFA was a recipient of four totes. We will use the totes to provide fresh produce from the garden to the school to be used for school lunch.

Today's senior spotlight is Tyjah Hornbacher. She is the daughter of Crystal and Bryon Hornbacher. Activities: Softball, PACT, CNA Favorite Class: My college Anatomy classes are my favorite. I love learning about the body and how it works. Favorite Teacher: Mr. Locken. He's one you can joke around with and have a good laugh. He's also one that is always willing to help with any questions you might have no matter the subject. Favorite School Memory: My favorite memory was when we created a Nerd Club. We then volunteered Mr. Roemmich to be our advisor. He didn't know that for over three weeks. P.S. You had to be there. :) Future Plans: I will attend Dakota College at Bottineau to complete generals and play softball. After this I'll be transferring to UND to tackle their pre-med program. We wish you all the best in your future plans!
